 George Orwell

  • 1903 June 25 - He was born Eric Arthur Blair in India.
  • 1904 - His mother moved back to England.
  • 1911 - George went to St Cyprian's School in Eastbourne.
  • 1912 - his father leaved India.
  • 1917  -he won a scholarship to Eton.
  • 1921 - he joined the British police in Burma.
  • 1927 - he resigned of the British police.


Turning Points
  • In 1921 he joined the British police in Burma.
  • In 1927 Orwell grew dissatisfied and he resigned.
  • George Orwell decided to become a writer.
  • He began living among the poor.

Achievements
  • In 1917 he won a scholarship to Eton

Visual

If you are a visual learner, you learn by reading or seeing pictures. You understand and remember things by sight. You can picture what you are learning in your head, and you learn best by using methods that are primarily visual. You like to see what you are learning.
